I was visiting Toronto and decided to have a dinner at this place as i like Mediterranean kitchen. Very “authentic” design - and i mean it in a good way. Place is busy so make reservations - i got lucky, but had i come 30 min later - likely would not get it. Prices are above average but worth every penny. I knew i would not be able to finish everything i ordered but i could not help it - both scallops and chicken breast were above the average. Sauces were with just the right touch of garlic. Service was courteous and not pushy. I had no room in my stomach for desert which i regret as it all looked delish
Food, service and ambiance are all excellent. Price is on the high side but with valid reasons. We had beet salad, Greek sea salt baked fish (2 lbs Mediterranean seabass), lamb chops, and loukoumadis as dessert. All are delicious. I especially enjoyed the lamb chops. The baked fish's portion was small after having been deboned by the server. We reckoned that we should have asked to skip the deboning because we could handle fish bones very well ourselves.

Great experience, went there for a date night with my partner, the food is amazingly fresh and tasty the staff are friendly and very welcoming from the moment you walk in, high end atmosphere, the lady owner attends to every table and makes sure you are enjoying the meal and if there is anything missing, they accommodate your needs, I needed some change to my salad and they brought me exactly what I asked for, the wine selection is amazing. This restaurant will be the one I go to often from now on. Thank you for the great experience, keep up the good job. If you are looking for a good , fresh food, and high end experience this restaurant is a go to. recommended. Prices are amazing for the experience you get. Must try.
A great restaurant with all high quality foods. Atmosphere, staff, manager and everything you see as soon as you step in are in the best possible level. Sea foods are amazingly delicious here specifically salted baked fish.
We had a great experience at Philonexia last night. Delicious food, courteous staff and a great atmosphere. We had a pleasure of meeting the owner Helen. She hand picked the right items for the taste of our family including my teenage son and my parents. Thank you for the hospitality and the great service.
This Restaurant deserves 10 stars. Had 30 people party there yesterday and food was delicious, service was amazing, atmosphere 1000 stars. Owner is amazing person to deal with.
